With a total gross floor area of 1.8 million square feet, Paya Lebar Quarter will be build on 2 land parcels plus a underground and airspace that connect the 2 land parcel together. Where Park Place Residences and Paya Lebar Quarter is located is marked under the URA Master Plan to be one of Singapore next commercial centre. As part of the government initiatives to decentralise the city centre and to bring jobs closer to home to ease congestion in the CBD, URA has earmark Paya Lebar Central as one of the regional centre.

The plan is to have about 12 ha of land equivalent to 1.29 million sqft around Paya Lebar MRT station for the development.
